Clínica Médica e Dentária das Abadias is a project for the provision of dental medicine services, based in the city of Figueira da Foz and integrating a multidisciplinary team of dentists, stomatologist, physiotherapist and oral hygienist, under the clinical direction of Professor Pedro Nicolau.
Over the last 30 years and under the motto: “Because oral health is quality of life. Each patient is unique and deserves the best from us.”, this team has been dedicated to the evaluation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of diversified clinical cases. Personalization and an integrated multidisciplinary approach define the clinical performance at CMD das Abadias, seeking to meet the oral health needs and expectations of each patient.
The continuous training and updating of the clinical team and the team of collaborators, through external and internal training courses, is a fundamental characteristic and the pillars that sustain the operation at CMD das Abadias. These determine the success and are the guarantee of the confidence of more than 10,000 patients that we have had the honor of seeing throughout these 30 years in Figueira da Foz, from the municipality, but also from all over the country and abroad.
For the last decade, CMD das Abadias has been part of BQDC – Portugal (Best Clinical Dental Centers), and was one of the founding clinics of the group in Portugal. This group is made up of 60 clinics of reference and excellence, in Portugal and Spain, which share a philosophy of common values, definition of articulated strategies, always with the aim of providing the best and most differentiated oral health care.
Last December 3rd was the time to mark the celebration of 30 years of service to the community, with an activity for clinicians, collaborators and their families promoted by CMD das Abadias, at Centro de Artes e Espetáculos da Figueira da Foz.
All patients, clinicians, collaborators, friends, business partners, and protocol partners are to be congratulated for the 30 years of this project, which belongs to all and for all. Our best wishes to everyone for their continued trust, dedication, and commitment.
