Prosthodontics

An area of dental medicine that aims to recover, maintain or improve the functional and aesthetic stability of the patient, promoting adequate chewing, phonetic and aesthetics, through a fixed or removable rehabilitation. This rehabilitation can be total or partial, depending on the number of teeth to recover.

Fixed Prosthesis

Prosthetic devices that cannot be removed by patients, being fixed to teeth or implants. They can be: veneers, total crowns, partial restorations (onlays/inlays), partial or total bridges.
Prosthetic devices that can be removed by patients and may be partial or total. Removable prostheses can be all acrylic or metal-acrylic, each of them having specific indications.
